When Faith Prevails, Failure Retreats

If confidence endures, failure flees from us. If we dwell on failure, confidence abandons us.

The struggle between justice and injustice is eternal. Likewise, the battle between righteousness and unrighteousness continues throughout human existence. Whenever we strive to uphold justice and establish virtue, whether within a nation or within a family, sacrifice and sorrow often accompany the struggle.

Conflicts of the mind inevitably bring challenges, opposition, and loss. We cannot completely escape these hardships, but neither should we allow them to consume us with worry. Instead, we must endeavour to minimise their impact. By strengthening our minds and fostering unity, we can greatly reduce the burdens we face.

Whenever we undertake noble deeds or righteous actions, it is essential to anticipate resistance and prepare ourselves to overcome it. Maintaining a broad and balanced perspective, listening attentively to the opinions of others, and accomplishing our work with their cooperation are among the many ways to unite hearts and minds. Understanding and practising these principles is neither mysterious nor unattainable.

Throughout life, we labour diligently and persevere relentlessly in pursuit of success. We refuse to rest until our goals are achieved, and even the smallest victory fills us with joy. Yet our efforts must never cease. Perseverance should remain unwavering. Confidence must be wholehearted and complete; half-hearted belief can never produce extraordinary results.

We must abandon the habit of saying, "I cannot." Instead, we should cultivate an unshakable conviction that "I can accomplish anything. I can succeed." Such certainty must become deeply rooted within us.

The human mind is naturally restless and difficult to control. It wanders endlessly like waves upon the sea. Just as no one can halt the ocean's waves by force, the fluctuations of the mind cannot simply be suppressed. However, the strong wall of unwavering confidence can restrain these turbulent thoughts and guide us towards victory.

One must never engage in any endeavour with hesitation or divided resolve. Where there is wholehearted commitment, success is always within reach. This truth should be permanently engraved upon our hearts. Training the mind to function with such discipline requires consistent practice, and one of the finest methods for strengthening and mastering the mind is meditation. Yet even during meditation, the mind must not be allowed to drift aimlessly.

We should refrain from actions that bring neither benefit to ourselves nor to others. Avoiding such conduct ultimately serves the welfare of everyone. As we consistently practise these virtues, they gradually become part of our character. Many undesirable habits arise from our own unchecked desires; reducing these attachments leads to lasting inner peace.

Remember these guiding principles:

1. When you choose to reject something, also relinquish your attachment to its usefulness.
2. When you love someone deeply, learn also to accept the possibility of separation.
3. When you anticipate profit, be equally mindful of potential loss.
4. Before deceiving another, reflect upon your own honour and self-respect.
5. Just as it is important to remember, it is equally important to know how to forget.
6. The ability to let go is essential for achieving mental focus and inner tranquillity.

Half-hearted confidence leads to danger; complete and unwavering faith leads to victory.
